History

Richmond FC has a long-standing history developing and shaping youth soccer players in Richmond, BC since 1955. Richmond FC started as Richmond Youth Soccer Association (RYSA) which oversaw four regional associations within Richmond: Central Richmond, West Richmond, South Richmond and North Richmond.

In 2004 the four smaller associations merged under Richmond Soccer until the association re-branded the club under Richmond FC in 2014.
