Welcome to Richmond FC soccer registration for Spring 2023 – Advanced Development (competitive), for girls and boys born 2015 to 2005. Programing runs April 3 to June 24, 2023. As a Canada Soccer designated Quality Soccer Provider, all programming is in accordance with Canada Soccer Long-Term Player Development (LTPD) guidelines.

Richmond FC is excited to continue to offer off-season spring programming to players who are interested in keeping their skills up and preparing for the main soccer season (September to March).

The Advanced Development Program is Richmond FC’s competitive stream for players born 2015-2005. The program is for experienced soccer players with intermediate to advanced skill. It is not for beginners or players newer to soccer – please see the Club’s Open Development Program. Placement in the Advanced Development Program is by evaluation only. Players not currently (2022-2023 Fall/Winter) in the Advanced Development Program can email admin@richmondfc.ca for evaluation information.

Players in the Advanced Development Program will be placed on teams (within their birth year) and train two times per week with weekend games in the Cascadia Spring Soccer League (involves travel outside of Richmond). Practices are 1 hour to 1 1/4 hours depending on age group.  In the Cascadia Spring Soccer League, boys play Saturday and girls play Sunday. Games are April 15-June 11. **Please note that in the Spring (offseason), U11-U18 teams and division placement maybe different from your team in the main soccer season (September to March) as teams are formed based on registration numbers and overall ability of all players.**

*NOTE:

♦ Practices days are NOT confirmed until the start of the season and are SUBJECT TO CHANGE based on FINAL registration numbers, staff coach availability and FINAL field allocations from the City of Richmond (late March). RFC cannot provide playing times at this point.

♦ Field locations are not known at this time until FINAL field allocations received from the City of Richmond (late March).

♦ The Cascadia Soccer League game schedule is provided by the League, not Richmond FC and will be available in late March.

Registation Fee Advanced Development=$450

Please note that team declarations to Cascadia Spring Soccer League are due in early March.  To secure your spot, please register by February 28.

Refund Policy: Refunds are provided, subject to a $50 administration fee, up to April 2, 2023. Refunds are not provided once the season starts (April 3).
