Welcome to Richmond FC’s soccer registration for Fall/Winter 2023-2024 Open Development (Recreational), for girls and boys born 2020 to 2006. Programming runs September 2023 to March 2024. As a Canada Soccer designated Quality Soccer Provider, all programming is in accordance with Canada Soccer Long-Term Player Development (LTPD) guidelines. This team-based program is two times per week.

2023-2024 Fall-Winter ODP Program

Players born 2020 to 2012 (U4-U12) will be placed on balanced teams by age and participate in the 2023/2024 Fall/Winter Soccer League (games are in Richmond only). This program consists of 1 practice a week and Saturday games (against other teams in your age group). Teams are co-ed, but where numbers permit may be separate girls and boys. All players receive a Richmond FC uniform (jersey, shorts and socks). Teams are coached by parent volunteers with RFC staff coaches providing supplemental support. RFC provides LTPD Certified coaches for all programming. Scott Guy, RFC’s LTPD Specialist, oversees all U4-U12 programs.

Players born 2011 to 2006 (U13-U18) will be placed on teams within their age group and participate in the BC Coastal Soccer League (Division 3). This involves travel outside of Richmond for Saturday games. There is one practice a week and weekend games. Teams are coached by parent volunteers with RFC staff coaches providing supplemental support. Registration includes a Richmond FC uniform.
